It is necessary to have precisely defined goals. Then only we can choose the battles that are directly related to those important goals. All other battles are unimportant and we should leave them as they are. Such trivial battles only drain the energy of us. They are a convenient excuse that we do not have to strive for essential things, which are more difficult to achieve and require a lot of our energy and attention. So we have to carefully define our goals and then coldly ignore all the unimportant battles that arise on our way to achieving these goals.
Such unimportant battles will be served to us by people who are jealous of us when they see us pursuing our goals. They may do this consciously or unconsciously. But such battles may also arise spontaneously, without anyone wishing us harm. It's completely irrelevant. The most important quality that we can develop or already have is discernment. Prudence to judge what is worthy of our attention and what is not.
We can't be everywhere at once. The fields of our concern, we cultivate them and they grow. When negative emotions are triggered, let's ask ourselves, is this battle going to bring us to our goal? If not, let's drop it all together and move on.
